The
Hammes family has owned the St. Maries Gazette Record for five decades.
Robert and JoJane Hammes bought the paper in 1958. Their son, Dan, and
his wife, Cindy, bought the paper in 1992 and have operated it since.
The Gazette Record is recognized as a quality community newspaper and focuses its coverage on people and events in the St. Joe Valley. In addition to publishing the weekly newspaper, the Gazette Record serves as an Internet Service Provider. Most customers choose regular dial-up service, but several business customers opt for high-speed SDSL Internet access.
The Gazette Record also has a fully-equipped print shop that offers all types of printing services including full-color work.
