Clubs
Like many rural areas, clubs play an integral part of a community. St. Maries enjoys the benefits of several service groups and fraternal organizations.
The Elks and Eagles Lodges each maintain a large lodge for meetings and social activities. Other fraternal organizations include the Masons and Eastern Star, and the Rebekahs and Oddfellows, who also maintain large lodges.
These
groups play active roles in local charities and benefits. Their work is
complemented by groups such as MNO, Mothers' Club, Kiwanis, Jaycees, St.
Maries Study Club and several others. These organizations not only offer
the opportunity for socializing, but also play an important role in the
community.
