Churches
Churches in St. Maries and the surrounding area offer a variety of options for worship services, school activities and children's programs.
In addition to the diversity created by several denominations, many churches participate in the St. Maries Ministerial Association and its events.
The association, formed nearly 20 years ago, conducts community services, pulpit swaps (pastors give sermons at other churches), an all-church picnic in the summer and events for special occasions and holidays. Members of participating churches also meet each month with 5 Sundays for Joy Night. Joy Nights are comprised of musical performances from individuals, groups and church choirs. A Joy Night is always conducted Labor Day weekend during Paul Bunyan Days.
